a week in photos (14-20 05 17)

If you read my last post you’ll know that my week’s been odd; hospital, home in bed, missing people, cooking a little bit, sleeping a lot, box set bingeing, feeling ill, feeling better, feeling so damn lucky to have such brilliant family and friends, actually leaving the house and feeling like one of the Chilean miners blinking at the light. Oh, and meeting a significant person who’s come into our lives and having a vision in my mind of how this first meeting would pan out. I had a lot of time on my hands this week…
- Me in my head: calm, friendly, warm, poised, hair looking good, clothes ditto, smiling, effortlessly witty – most of the things that I’m not really in real life, really, if I’m really honest (though I am mostly friendly and I do smile a lot, that much is true.)
- Me in real life: bursting out my car walloping door and self into post, hair looking not unlike the photo below, clothes that could have been retrieved from a supermarket car park third world charity bin, running down garden muttering, ha! Who am I kidding! Shouting – SHIT! FUCK! SHIT! FUCK! SHIT SHITTY SHIT FUCK!!!! FUUUUUCCCCCKKKKKKKKK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yep, every excruciating moment witnessed by said significant person who’d managed to achieve all of example A. Such is life.
